We are glad we found Tara for our 14 month old Lab. She was patient and worked through our dog's "quirks". She kept us up-to-date on her progress with daily updates and videos. We had "interviewed" other trainers in the area and we felt Tara was the perfect "fit", and she was!

"My dog had serious fear aggression towards strangers, he literally thought everyone was out to get him. I sent him with Tara for a 2 week board and train while I went on a trip. I was extremely pleased with the communication throughout his training-videos, pics and updates. I could tell in the videos that my dog actually loved learning and overcoming new challenges. He is now able to walk through public spaces without the anxiety he used to have. She has helped him build his confidence level."

Tara is awesome! We didn’t want our pup to be kenneled while we were out of town but really couldn’t take him on our trip. Tara was able to provide a home environment with lots of fun and love! She sent photos and videos throughout each day which really helped ease our nerves about leaving our fur baby behind. We knew he was in good hands and enjoyed his time but what really sealed the deal was when we dropped him off for a second stay. He was so happy and excited to be there with no worries about us leaving him!

I have a very high energy Standard Poodle 10 month old puppy, that started suffering from pretty severe separation anxiety, he was totally destructive when ever he was left alone, and was flat crazy in a public place. Daniel went for 2 weeks Board and Train, and Tara gave both of us very useful tools in dealing with the anxiety, and channeling his energy. I was able to take him to a horse show, where he behaved way better than he ever had in public, even laid down and watched all the things going on around him. I plan on doing another Board and Train with him to build on all that we have worked on, and hope to one day do agility trials with him.

My husband and I were very nervous about leaving our three year old Dachshund for board and training for two weeks. But he needed some additional training and we chose to place him in Tara’s capable hands. While we missed terribly, watching him walk into Home Depot with Tara and walk calmly down the aisle as people and dogs walked by was incredible. (Cooper has always been anxious around strangers and other dogs). We were both impressed with Tara’s training techniques and how Cooper responded to her. We highly recommend Tara to anyone that needs help with training your dog…you will not be disappointed.

Tara is amazing!!! I sent my dog to her because of reactivity around other dogs. He’s a working breed and has a lot of energy and has attacked a few dogs. I gave Tara the two most important things to work on, she let me tour her home, and told me about her program. She sent updates daily (good and bad) and how much he’s improved. When I got my dog back he was still the same but with more confidence and tools to use in public scary spaces with other dogs! She introduced him to many dogs and told me about his body language and things to look out for. We also started calling her about the other dogs in our home! Ive already recommended Tara to anyone who compliments my dogs behavior in public :)
